All Compost-A-Pak® products are made from a natural starch-based polymer derived from third-grade, GMO-free corn, a renewable crop and a waste product not suitable for human or animal consumption. Sourced from high-rainfall regions to minimise irrigation, it offers a genuinely sustainable alternative to conventional plastics.
Bags are produced using purpose-built biodegradable resin extruders with significantly reduced electricity consumption compared to conventional equipment, and printed in soy-based inks. Recommended shelf life is 12 months.
Compost-A-Pak® liners are certified compostable to Australian standards for both home (AS5810) and commercial composting (AS4736), as well as relevant European, American and Japanese standards. Products break down fully into humus, water and carbon dioxide within weeks in a commercial composting facility, leaving no harmful residue. Suitable for use in organic farms, worm farms, and food contact applications.
