In October 2025, Abco received a Bronze Medal rating from EcoVadis, recognising its sustainability achievements and progress over the previous 12 months. This rating places Abco within the top 35% of companies assessed globally, with a specific ranking in the top 16% at the time the score was published.
Abco views the EcoVadis benchmarking process as a valuable tool for identifying areas of improvement, establishing clear and actionable pathways, and supporting the ongoing refinement of its sustainability strategy.
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates performance across four key pillars—environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement—ensuring balanced coverage of critical ESG themes. As of 2025, EcoVadis has conducted over 159,000 sustainability assessments across more than 89,000 companies worldwide. These evaluations span over 180 countries and more than 220 industries, making EcoVadis one of the most comprehensive and widely recognised sustainability rating platforms globally. Importantly, the assessment looks beyond policies, seeking evidence of concrete actions and measurable results, providing assurance of meaningful impact in ESG initiatives. Abco’s recent efforts have been focused around carbon emissions reduction, renewable energy, modern slavery prevention, and worker safety. In the year ahead, Abco aims to further strengthen its ESG framework, with a particular focus on enhancing worker training and development initiatives.
In addition to achieving a Bronze EcoVadis Sustainability Medal for the second consecutive year, Abco is particularly pleased to have recorded a meaningful improvement in both its overall EcoVadis score and global percentile ranking. This improvement highlights tangible progress across Abco’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities and reflects the company’s strong focus on continual improvement, long-term business resilience and contributing to a sustainable future.
